Coaches,
On behalf of LABCA I would like to welcome you to another exciting basketball season. Since the inception of the Los Angeles Basketball Coaches Association we are very proud of some of our major accomplishments.

We were the first sport in the LA City section to implement a seeding committee that does not consist of coaches.

We created a LABCA coaches clinic.

LABCA is also responsible for the increase in the number of divisions in the CIF-LA playoffs and the increase of our section teams participating in all six divisions in the State playoffs.
LABCA serves as a united voice for coaches to uphold the needs of student athletes and promote the values of academics and athletic competition. Our association is open to all boys and girls coaches. LABCA is a member of the basketball advisory committee for the CIF-LA City Section.
LABCA provides the ideals of integrity, sportsmanship and teamwork to all participating coaches. We will continue to work to improve the game of high school basketball. It is important that we give back to our sport which does so much to enhance the lives of young people.
